We read an interesting article stating that there was a link between honeybee colony collapse disorder and cell phones.
A recent study by the Times of India found:
“An experiment conducted in the southern state of Kerala found that a sudden fall in the bee population was caused by towers installed across the state by cellphone companies [...]

This past holiday season was one to remember for India’s ITC Hotel Royal Gardenia. The hotel, located in the city of Bengaluru, has been awarded the largest LEED Platinum certification in the world.

Why such high accolades? The hotel’s parent company, ITC, is a leader in sustainability – the only company in the world to be carbon positive, water positive and solid waste recycling positive.

This award is yet another “green milestone” for ITC. It is close on the heels of the ITC Green Center in Gurgaon—one of the world’s largest green buildings – which was chosen by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as the venue to announce her vision on Indo-U.S. collaboration on climate change during her last visit to India.

After a tour of the building she called it a “Monument to the Future.”
